Behavioral Healthcare

The Behavioral Health Program located in the West Ridge is designed to meet the diverse emotional and social needs of Asian immigrants and refugees and other underserved communities.

We have trained providers and staff who speak more than 15 languages. We are a MEDICAID-certified site. We accept Medicaid/All Kids and have several managed care contracts for MEDICAID recipients.

Health Programs

Adult Outpatient Program

The adult outpatient program provides a wide range of evidence based behavioral health services including individual counseling, couples and family counseling, case management, individual and group community support service (CSG), crisis assessment and intervention, supportive employment, domestic violence support service, trauma informed service, and psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR).

All outpatient program services are multi-faceted and geared to meet the client’s individual needs. All services are available onsite at multiple locations and most offsite locations including home visits, as needed. All services are made available in clients preferred language whenever possible.

Child and Adolescent Outpatient Program

The child and adolescent outpatient program provides services to kids’ ages 5 through 17 experiencing or at rick of experiencing decreased functioning due to emotional concerns, behavioral disturbances and/or impaired social, personal or academic functioning’s. Early identification and treatment of emotional and/or behavioral problems in children and adolescents is central to the program hence the C&A program delivers a wide array of family-centered, trauma informed, culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate service to its clients. Utilizing evidence based interventions the program focuses on developing the child’s social skills, community living skills, vocational skills through services such as, individual counseling, child and family therapy, case management, groups, crisis intervention and psychiatry. The program also emphasizes importance in growing the child and families social and natural support systems. All services are available onsite at multiple locations and most offsite locations including home visits, as needed. All services are made available in clients preferred language whenever possible.

Pathway to Success (PSP) Program

The overriding philosophy of the Pathway to Success program is to ENGAGE, EMPOWER and EMPLOY clients with the belief that all individuals regardless of their mental illness are capable of competitively working in the community when placed in the right job and work environment. The program uses an individual placement and support framework in order to help clients with behavioral health and employment needs secure a competitive job, sustain their new role, successfully retain their employment and at the same time manage their behavioral health barriers. The goal of the program is to help clients find jobs that pay competitive wages and are in integrated settings within the community (i.e., with other people who don’t necessarily have disabilities).

Community Support Groups/Individual (CSG/CSI) and Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR)

The services of the PSR/CSG/CSI programs are organized around the stated goals of the persons served and assist them to achieve their goals of choice in the following areas: I) Community living skills development; 2) Interpersonal relationships; 3) Recreation and use of leisure time; 4) Vocational development; 5) Education development; 6) Self-advocacy; 7) access to community social resources; 8) identification and use of natural support.
