Asian Human Services works with currently enrolled college students who have a Federal Work-Study grant. We run three after-school programs at Asian Human Services: in the LEAF Program, with the WIA Youth Program and at Passages Charter School. If you are a college student with a Federal Work-Study grant, and would like to work in our AHS programs, contact JoAnne Williams, Director of Human Resources, by email at jwilliams@ahschicago.org.

If you are a member of the community who would like to volunteer with Asian Human Services during your free time, we may have an opportunity for you. Please send an email expressing your interest to JoAnne Williams, Director of Human Resources, at jwilliams@ahschicago.org. In this email, please state the following: number of hours you can volunteer during the week, and specific times; areas of interest in which you would like to offer your services; and skills you possess that will be valuable to clients of Asian Human Services.

Development Consultant

Asian Human Services, a non-profit social service agency, in Chicago is looking for a Development Consultant to aid in implementing a service grant focusing on Key Messages and Brand Strategies. Psychiatrist (Consultant)

Under the direct supervision of the Medical Director, the Physician's major function is to perform psychiatric services for outpatient facility located on the north side of Chicago. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to providing services in all aspects of outpatient psychiatry, direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population. Additionally psychiatrist will refer patients to other providers, counselors, specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate. Documentation of residency completion from an accredited residency is required. Physician must hold an active current medical license in Good Standing in the state of Illinois as well as controlled substance license and DEA certificate. Submit resumes to M.W. Mental Health Staff Therapist

Duties include: providing individual therapy for adults, assessments, treatment planning, case management, facilitating community support groups and more. Candidate must have a Master degree in Social Work or Counseling, licensed preferred. Rule 132 billing experience preferred. Fluency in an Asian language a bonus.
