Americorps

The AHS AmeriCorps Project is a federally funded program that places AmeriCorps members in programs across the agency to provide direct service to low-income, immigrant children and adults. AmeriCorps members have fulfilled a variety of critical roles, including teaching English as a Second Language, running after school programs, performing community health outreach, assisting with employment services and helping patients with health education and medical services.
