Work First

Temporary Aid for Needy Families (TANF) recipients can participate in this employment program which is focused on work experience that leads to full-time employment. Clients complete our Job Readiness Training and are assigned to local employers that we have partnered with to gain the skills and experience needed to obtain and attain a job. Supportive services and retention services are provided to insure success.

SNAP Employment & Training

Clients who receive SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and are currently seeking employment are eligible to participate in this Employment & Training program. The program consists of 80 hours of monthly activities such as vocational training, computer training, job readiness training, work experience, and job search assistance with critical supportive services being issued along the way. These valuable activities allow customers to gain workplace skills and prepare them to move towards permanent employment with our collaborating employers.

EPIC

This pilot program guides participants through medical certification trainings to become certified as Patient Care Technicians, Phlebotomists, EKG Technicians, or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). The program includes career navigation, training and certification, supportive services, paid work experience, and job retention services to become certified and start a good-paying career.

Employability Development

This program is perfect for those who need a little extra help in their job search. Our case manager guides participants through resume building and Job Readiness Training and follows up with job leads and support while you complete activities to reach your employment goals.
